रहिमन वे नर मर चुके, जे कहुँ माँगन जाँहिं.

हिन्दी अर्थ:
किसी से याचना करने (माँगने) के साथ ही माँगने वाले व्यक्ति का (याचक) का स्वाभिमान समाप्त हो जाता है, जिससे वह म्रतप्राय (मरे समान) हो जाता है. लेकिन जो व्यक्ति मांगने पर भी किसी को देने से इन्कार करता है – वह समझो मांगने वाले से पहले मर जाता हैं.
English Phonetic:
Rahiman ve ner mar chuke, je kahun mangan janhi.
Untey pahile ve muye, jin mukh niksat nahin.
English Meaning:
The moment a person pleads (asks/ begs) for help, his pride gets killed and he is like a dead person. But if on asking for help, a person refuses to help; such a person dies even before the seeker of the help.
